The Cleveland Cavaliers have been dealing with injuries all season, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone when coach Tyronn Lue and his coaching staff opt to rest some of their starters who play heavy minutes.
Unfortunately for the Cavs, they lost Tristan Thompson, at least for the remainder of the game, after he was elbowed by Lakers’ forward Julius Randle in the mouth. Fox Sports Ohio’s Allie Clifton reported that Thompson is out for the rest of the game with what is being deemed a mouth injury.
