David Blatt’s firing may have been the most surprising thing to happen in the NBA all season. Everyone expected the Lakers to be bad, the Cavs to be good, and the Warriors to be great. But the firing of David Blatt seemed to come out of nowhere and many coaches around the NBA were very surprised.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was among the many coaches asked about the firing of Blatt soon after the news broke out and the league began reacting to it.
