In their first sub-40% shooting performance of the playoffs, the Cavs returned to their Toronto hotel with their heads held high. Their 10 straight playoff wins came with Warrior-esque shooting milestones and disruptions in the all-time scoring list and coaching records.
Cleveland’s true loss involves pride, as the Cavs won’t become the third team to reach 11 straight wins let alone the first get to the NBA Finals in 12 games. It’s now a question of goals, where mental toughness in the playoffs puts your biggest one on review. After all, May only exists to stall June.
