According to Jason Lloyd, the Cavs have ruled out Kevin Love for Cleveland’s Eastern Conference Semifinals series against either the Chicago Bulls or Milwaukee Bucks. Love was injured in what he believes was a “dirty play” by Boston Celtics’ Kelly Olynyk in Game 4 of the Cavs’ first round sweep this past Sunday.
Basically Love has a dislocated shoulder, torn ligaments, a torn labrum. And other stuff.

The Cavs release Kevin Love’s injury is an acute anterior inferior glenohumeral dislocation. He’s expected to miss at least two weeks, and given the end goal of Cleveland’s 2015 playoff run, Love’s longevity is most important. For now, Coach Blatt has said that he will compensate for the loss of Love with a combination of Tristan Thompson, James Jones, Iman Shumpert and even LeBron James taking the 4 spot down-low.
