During Game 2 of the first round series against the Indiana Pacers, Kyrie Irving climbed up another Cleveland Cavalier leader board.
With a three point bomb half-way through the scorching hot third quarter, Irving reached 21 points on the night, overtaking second placed Mark Price for all-time playoff scoring. Price then took to his Twitter account to congratulate Irving.
Obviously, the guy standing number one on this list is LeBron James with 3,291 points.
Although it seemed inevitable that Irving overtake Price eventually, the rapidity in which he did it is impressive. Price played with the Cavs from 1986-95, appearing in 47 playoff games, averaging 17.4 points on his way to reaching 818 playoff points.
Irving surpassed Price in 36 playoff games, averaging 23.2 points per game.
An incredible achievement for the fresh 25-year-old, but he’s got a way to go if he plans in reaching LeBron James at the top of this list.
