Sunday, February 5th will forever go down in the anals of sports history.
We saw the New England Patriots come back from a 21-0 deficit to the Atlanta Falcons, to force the first ever overtime game in the Super Bowl era. The Patriots would eventually win the game in overtime, capping the greatest ever comeback in Super Bowl history.
Following the game, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers took to Bleacher Reportās āUninterruptedā to salute Tom Brady and his Patriots.
James is right, what a crazy year of major sporting events we witnessed. We saw the greatest ever comeback in Super Bowl and NBA Finals history. The Chicago Cubs snapped the longest drought in professional sports after also coming back from a 3-1 deficit. Clemson defeated a heavily favored Alabama for the CFB National Championship and the last second buzzer beater from Kris Jenkins to sink North Carolina for a national title to finish up March Madness.
LeBron James then labelled Tom Brady as the āāG.O.A.Tā, after seeing the former Michigan quarterback win his fifth championship ring.
