Kyle Korver caught fire from the field during Wednesday night’s matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Korver shot a phenomenal 8-of-9 from behind the three-point arc, leading the Cavaliers with 29 off the bench.
LeBron James sung his praises for the former Atlanta Hawk following the game, who saw Korver drain 6 three-point attempts from 6 passes directly from his hand.
After Cavs sideline announcer, Fred McLeod, compared Korver’s performance to those of J.R. Smith target=”_blank”, LeBron put Korver in his own class.
“Nah man, Kyle’s in a league of his own.”
James would also place J.R. in a league of his own, but has to be incredibly happy with Korver’s play in the absence of the injured sharpshooter.
Kyle Korver has shot 40-of-83 in his 15 games in wine and gold, a crazy 48% from deep. Korver is certainly in a league of his own, clearly the best shooter from deep while on the move in the NBA.
