If you haven’t heard, the city of Flint, Michigan has been struck by a severe water contamination crisis. The issue forced President Obama to declare a federal state of emergency.
Many noted figures have pitched in to donate water bottles and other supplies to those affected in Flint, including: Beyoncé, Diddy, Mark Wahlberg, and LeBron James. The Cleveland Cavaliers star has shipped organic food –supplied by Thrive Market- and water to Flint via the LeBron James Family Foundation.
NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul joined the King in the donation, and sent supplies through their own charitable foundations. The LeBron James Family Foundation tweeted a picture of the supplies being sent last Monday:

Although Flint is going through a tough period of time right now, it is great seeing celebrities like LeBron and company show philanthropic awareness.
