The Cleveland Cavaliers will have their sights set on an eighth straight victory on home court when they close out their regular season schedule on Wednesday against the visiting New York Knicks as double-digit betting favorites on the NBA odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Cleveland returns home after posting a lopsided 123-109 victory in New York as 12-point chalk on Monday, extending an impressive stretch run to 11-2 in 13 contests ahead of Wednesday night’s Knicks vs. Cavaliers betting matchup at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavaliers’ offense continued to fire on all cylinders in Monday’s win. The club has averaged 121 points per game over its past four outings, paying out on the OVER in totals betting in each of its past three. The Cavaliers have also reached 120 points in six of their past 12 contests, but have surrendered big totals, with opponents cracking the century mark in 16 of 18 and averaging 115.5 points per game over their past four.

While Cleveland has dominated the Knicks in recent years, going 12-1 straight up in 13 meetings since October 2014 according to the OddsShark NBA Database, the team has covered just once in its last three matchups with New York while allowing 108 points per game.

The Cavaliers have also endured a dismal season at the sportsbooks, but looked to have turned the corner of late, picking up wins against the spread in 10 of their last 12 to put the brakes on a 4-9 ATS run.

Racked by injuries to a number of regulars, including big man Kristaps Porzingis, who underwent season-ending knee surgery in early February, the Knicks enter their season finale on a 5-25 SU run, but have managed to cover in three of five road contests, including a pair of ATS wins as double-digit underdogs.

Cleveland remains in the hunt for third place in the Eastern Conference but will need some help from the Milwaukee Bucks in their battle with Philadelphia on Wednesday night. Following a 121-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks as 10-point chalk on Tuesday night, the 76ers sit a full game ahead of the Cavaliers in the race for third place in the Eastern Conference, and can clinch the three-seed with a victory in Wednesday’s season finale.

However, the Cavaliers’ first-place finish in the Central Division gives them the nod on tiebreakers in the event they finish the season deadlocked with Philadelphia.
