The Cleveland Cavaliers were able to close out the Indiana Pacers on Sunday afternoon to complete the four-game sweep, earning themselves some much-needed rest. The NBA announced yesterday that the Cavs will tip off Game 1 of the second round on May 1st. As the second seed, they’ll be taking on the winner of the 3-6 matchup between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks.
In the four game series against the Raptors in which they won three matchups, the Cavs scored 103.5 points per game while allowing 104.5 points per game. The Raptors ended up with more points in the series due to the trio of wins by under four points and the regular season finale loss by 15 points.
in the regular season series against the Bucks, one that the Cavs won three of four games, Cleveland put up 107.5 points per game while allowing the Bucks to put up 105.8 points per game. That includes the wins by six, seven, and 11 points as well as the loss by 17-point loss in their first meeting of the season.
Since the series is knotted up at two games piece entering Monday’s Game 5, there will be a guaranteed Game 6, one that the Cavs players and coaching staff will surely be watching. However, we know for a fact that the trio of Kevin Love, Channing Frye, and Richard Jefferson are watching Game 5 from the comfort of home.

Love, R.J., and Frye show us ever a bad time to start scouting your next opponent, but you have to have a little wine to go with it.
