Tonight, the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers will square off against the San Antonio Spurs inside Quicken Loans Arena at 8:30 p.m. EST on ABC. After an impressive 118-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, the Cavs will look to keep their momentum rolling.
After dealing with injuries, sickness, and a six-game West Coast road trip, the Cavaliers received a bit of good news. Kevin Love, who did not play in Cleveland’s win over the Suns due to back soreness, participated in this morning’s practice. “K-Love,” as the 6’10” marksman is known, worked out with the starters during shootaround, as Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports in his recent article.
Love, who is averaging 20.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, is still listed as questionable, but this is certainly a good sign that he could play tonight against Coach Popovich and his Spurs.
