The Cavaliers will be shorthanded when they travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks on Tuesday night as Kevin Love will not play.

Love suffered a knee contusion in a knee-to-knee collision against the Lakers which will force him out against a Bucks team that beat the Cavaliers on their home floor just a week ago.

The Cavs play the Bucks back-to-back just a night later on Wednesday, and Love is listed as questionable for that contest at this stage as well.

News was delivered by Cavaliers broadcaster Fred McLeod after the Cavs defeated the Lakers at home 119-108 with Love playing excellent again putting up 27 points and 17 rebounds in just 33 minutes.

The Cavs are staying cautious during this time with their stars as it a very busy and demanding time in their schedule. It’s a brutal stretch, with the Cavs playing five games in seven nights.

It will be a tough period during this Christmas section of the schedule, and the Cavs will need to utilize their entire roster to get through it successfully.

Love will be out against the Bucks, but look for his Cavaliers teammates to pick up the slack like they’ve done so often in the past when someone is unavailable.
