With or without LeBron James next season, the Cleveland Cavaliers will not have their players wear vintage team uniforms. That is likely going to be the case, as Conrad Burry of Sportslogos.net has recently revealed the list of teams that are going to sport throwback jerseys next season, and that does not include the Cavs.

Burry, who has been known to break in some news with regards to NBA team uniforms, has listed the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic, and the Utah Jazz as seven teams who expected to see action in the 2018-19 campaign strutting old-school threads.

Burry has not verified the exact details of those aforementioned teams’ classic uniforms, but he offered the following guesses:

Unfortunately, I am unable to completely confirm each team’s exact throwback uniform, but we can at least narrow down the possibilities, especially in some cases using process-of-elimination.

Without further ado, the list:

Atlanta Hawks – Sky Blue
Charlotte Hornets – White
Golden State Warriors – Athletic Gold
Indiana Pacers – Deep Red
Minnesota Timberwolves – Black
Orlando Magic – Royal Blue
Utah Jazz – Purple

It could be a little bit saddening for Cleveland fans not to see the Cavs on that list. For one, the team owns an extensive array of classic uniforms. That being said, this is not the first time that the Cavs have not been selected to model their throwback get-ups, as the team has not worn classic jerseys this season.

In any case, luring LeBron James back to Cleveland should be the team’s top priority in the offseason.
