Donovan Mitchell injury status vs. Clippers
Cleveland will play Donovan Mitchell after he missed the team’s last two contests, according to Cleveland.com Cavs reporter Chris Fedor. The Cavs has him listed as questionable on the injury report for their game tonight against the Clippers.
The Cavs have lost four of their last six games. It’s not surprising to note that Mitchell has missed five of those contests as he continues to nurse his groin injury. He attempted to play through it against the New York Knicks earlier in the week but ended up re-aggravating it further in the hard-fought loss.
The Clippers, meanwhile, enter the matchup having won their last five games. Their injury fortunes have seemingly trended the opposite direction as Kawhi Leonard is starting to regain his superstar form of late. Not having Mitchell to go at him offensively would be a huge blow for the Cavs against a tough opponent.
Despite the questionable tag, Mitchell was seen getting shots up hours before tip-off. Perhaps there’s a chance he suits up if his groin cooperates with him. But for now, the answer is up in the air for the question – Is Donovan Mitchell playing vs. Clippers?
