LeBron James just can’t stop dunking on people. And he did it again during the first half of Friday’s Game 6 battle with the Indiana Pacers on the road when The King drove down the lane and elevated high enough to deliver a monster facial throwdown on Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis.
That’s what showing no mercy is all about.
Highlight plays are far from the only thing LeBron James is contributing to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is almost doing it all for the Cavs in these playoffs. James entered the sixth game of this series averaging 34.8 points on 55.0 percent shooting from the field to go with 11.4 rebounds and 8.0 assists.
The Cavs are ahead in the series, 3-2, which means a win tonight against Domantas Sabonis and company would assure Cleveland a spot in the second round of the playoffs. It will also keep James’ record in the first round unblemished.
While James Harden is the favorite to win this season’s MVP plum, that does not take any shine from the ridiculous performance of LeBron in the regular season in which he played in all 82 games and put up monster numbers of 27.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists.
