The Cleveland Cavaliers have a knack for getting themselves weird personalities and weird theories. Jordan Clarkson is no different, and he had quite the Monday.
Appearing on Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye’s podcast Clarkson talked about how he thought that dinosaurs were just pets for some very large humans.
‘Y’all know how we got dogs and stuff right? So, I think it was bigger people in the world before us, and the dinosaurs was they pets.’
As weird as those comments might be, it might not be as weird as the commercial he did for Heineken in the Philippines that someone discovered on Monday.
In the commercial Clarkson who is half Philipino is talking with some ladies about how Heineken is popular just like he is.
There is only one issue though. the ladies have no idea who idea who he is, and at the end they imply they think he is a singer.
Jordan Clarkson didn’t let everything going on around him affect his game on Monday night against the Milwaukee Bucks though.
He played 28 minutes putting up 17 points, two rebounds, and one assist. He has been one of the most solid bench guys since being traded over to the Cavs from the Los Angeles Lakers. If the Cavaliers want to get as far as they hope in this year’s playoffs they are going to need Clarkson to be the leader of the second unit.
The Cavs currently sit in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with a 41-29 record. The playoff race is tight though and they are only four games above the Milwaukee Bucks who sit in 8th place.
