Newly retired Cleveland Cavaliers big man Channing Frye was recently handed the privilege of throwing out the honorary first pitch before a Cleveland Indians game. Unfortunately for the 35-year-old, his attempt at a pitch was simply terrible, which proved that he is probably just a one-sport kind of talent:

Fryeā€™s pitch was terribly off the mark, and even he knew how bad it was, based on his on-field reaction. As it turns out, Frye was so bothered by his poor effort that he had to go on Twitter to explain the events that transpired:

Frye was obviously kidding, and he was making jokes all day about the pitch. For former teammate Richard Jefferson, though, this was a perfect opportunity to roast his longtime buddy:

Frye is a well-loved figure in the Cleveland sports community, as he played a pivotal role in the 2015-16 Cavs side that historically went all the way to win the NBA title.

Despite playing only four seasons in Cleveland, Frye has indeed made his mark in the city, and has become somewhat of a household name for Cavs fans. Him being invited to throw out an honorary pitch for the Indians is only further testament to this fact. However, with his forgettable outing on the mound, the Indians might think twice about giving him a second crack at it in the future.

Frye finally called it a career after a 14-year tenure in the league. The 7-foot center finished with career averages of 8.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks.
