The Cleveland Cavaliers came into Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors down in the series 0-3 and nearly everyone counting them out. But the Cavs came out on fire in Game 1, scoring 49 points in the first quarter on 14-24 from the field, 7-12 from beyond the arc, and 14-22 from the free throw line.
Kevin Love scored 14 points, Kyrie Irving added 11 points, LeBron James put in eight points, and J.R. Smith as well as Richard Jefferson added six points apiece.
They continued their hot shooting in the 2nd quarter with another 37 points and finished the first half with an NBA Finals record 86 points.
Kyrie Irving scored 28 points on 11-14 shooting, LeBron James was up to 22 points, and Kevin Love finished the half with 17 points.
