Since joining the league Kyle Korver has been known as a sharpshooter who can light it up from deep at a moments notice, but evidently, there are some other hidden talents than just lighting up the scoreboard. During the Cleveland Cavaliers game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night a video was shown of the Cavs shooter clapping with one hand.
After the video was shown, of course, all the people in the stands had to give it a try. One-handed clapping isn’t something everyone can do, and usually takes a lot of practice for one person to learn. The YouTube video below teaches how to perfect the one-handed clap, but not everyone will be able to do it.
Good thing for NBA fans though, Korver has more talents than just the one-handed clap. Since coming over from the Atlanta Hawks Korver has been a big part of the Cavs roster.
On the season. Kyle Korver is averaging 9.3 points per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the field. He plays in every game but his minutes go up and down a lot.
Whenever he is on the court though he is a threat to light it up from deep, just like he evidently is a threat to pull out a one-handed clap anywhere.
Korver became a Cavalier last year, when he was traded to Cleveland by the Atlanta Hawks for Mike Dunleavy, Mo Williams, a 2019 protected pick, and some cash. The former Creighton Bluejay then signed a three-year contract worth $22 million in July.
