Despite their lack of success lately, the Cleveland Cavaliers are not making any adjustments to their rotation. This was confirmed by head coach Tyronn Lue as he will reportedly still use the same starting lineup in their upcoming games, according to Maria Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal.
The Wine and Gold have now dropped nine of their last 13 games, including a 148-124 blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night. There have been a number of questions that has emerged on what the real reason for their inability to string wins together are, and it has been a cause of concern to the Northeast Ohio faithful.
Rumors have also swirled about some moves that may happen to their roster ahead of the trade deadline set next month. However, it may not be limited to the players alone, as even the coaching staff could possibly be changed if the team’s front office deems it as necessary.
All these could serve as distraction to the players and will definitely not help their cause. With the season more than halfway through, it will be very crucial for the Cavs to start winning games consistently if they want to contend for the title again. That said, there may also be some changes needed to be made to their rotation if they continue to lose at this alarming rate in order to find the combinations that work together and place them in the best position to get back to their winning ways.
