With just under four minutes remaining in the first half of Tuesday’s Game 2 matchup against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James took an inadvertent elbow to the face on a drive to the hoop. James immediately made his way to the locker room for evaluation, then later returned to play. The initial diagnosis was a “neck strain.”

There was some concern as to whether or not James may have suffered a concussion (or some other injury to his head/neck area). However, it seems the King is fine.

According to a report from Tom Withers of the Associated Press in Cleveland, James was a participant in Thursday morning’s practice session at Cleveland Clinic Courts.

James had a solid outing in Game 2 — a 107-94 loss. In his 39 minutes of action, the three-time champ racked up 42 points on 16-29 shooting from the field (5-11 from beyond the arc), 12 assists, 10 rebounds and one block. He scored 21 of Cleveland’s 27 points in the first quarter, tying his playoff career high for points in a period.

“I think I’ll be fine. I’m not going to lose sleep over it. You go out and when you lay everything on the line, at the end of the day, you can live with that,” James told ESPN during his post-game presser. “They did what they had to do, and that was protect home, and now it’s our time to try to do that, as well.”

Game 3 is set to tip inside Quicken Loans Arena at 8:30 p.m. EST on Saturday night with ESPN having live broadcast coverage. Let’s see if James and the Cavs can bounce back.
