Tyronn Lue is about to finalize his rotation for the Cleveland Cavaliers. After addeding a number of key pieces to their already-competitive roster, he has been looking at different combinations, but is expected to soon lock in the minutes distribution, and roles for all his players.

While it should be easy to determine which players will start and come off the bench, the amount of talent the Cavs have makes it a more complex process for the Lue. It also did not help that he had to delay it because of the injury LeBron James suffered in the preseason.

The good news for Tyronn Lue though is the professionalism that Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson have exemplified, despite appearing to see less minutes on the floor or even potentially losing their roster spots.

LeBron James will still be the focal point of the Cavs offense, but Tyronn Lue also needs to incorporate his new players like Dwyane Wade, Jae Crowder, and, eventually, Isaiah Thomas, among others, into his system. If he can maximize their talents, it will definitely be a huge boost to their championship quest, and will prevent James to be spent once the playoffs start.

For now, the exact rotation is still up in the air, but it can be expected that Lue and his staff will find a way to keep all their players happy by handing them roles where they can still be effective in contributing to the team’s cause.
