The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic are facing off on Tuesday night, but it appears the Cavaliers will be without their head coach for the rest of the game.
There has been some rumors that Lue could be fired this season, but being fired in the middle of a first quarter of a game seems extreme, especially with the team having a lead.
Twitter seemed to have some fun with Lue leaving the bench, and the reason it might be for though:
It appears that it is an illness that is keeping Lue out of the game.
Lets hope this isn’t a serious illness, and that he can return to the court quick. It has been a rough season for him and the Cavaliers with the struggles on the court, and the chatter that he has lost the locker room after.
He has a lot of big personalities to deal with on the Cavaliers this year, and trying to keep all the players happy, and having the team play winning basketball has proven to be tough.
He took for David Blatt in the middle of the 15-16 season and led the Cavaliers to the NBA Championship. This year though the Cavaliers are only 30-21 and sit in third place of the Eastern Conference Standings. They are 5.5 games back of the Raptors for the second spot, and 7.5 back of the Celtics for the top spot.
The Cavaliers will have another game on Wednesday night against the Timberwolves on ESPN.
