The Cleveland Cavs released their injury report ahead of their road game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. After a three-game win streak, the Cavs will look to bounce back from a 114-111 loss to the Atlanta Hawks this week. Perhaps Evan Mobley will continue his 3-point shooting run after going 0-for-3 from deep against the Hawks.
Cavs rookie Meleek Thomas is listed as questionable with right foot inflammation/soreness. Jaylon Tyson (right ankle sprain) and Nae’Qwan Tomlin (low back stress reaction) are both ruled out on the Cavs’ injury report.
The Bucks are coming off a 132-100 loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Hosting the Cavs will conclude their three-game homestand.
Why Mike Wilbon doesn’t trust Cavs after blown lead
The Cavs found their stride after a monumental collapse against the 76ers on Opening Night. After the Cavs coughed up a 29-point lead, some questioned their title aspirations, even this early in the regular season, as ESPN’s Mike Wilbon noted.
“If we list the teams I don’t trust in the NBA, particularly in the Eastern Conference, in terms of getting into a scrap, a scrap in April-May, the Cavaliers are on top of the list,” he said. “How can you trust them with what we have seen Brian even though they have spent the offseason doing exactly what they need to do. It’s only one game, we don’t want to go crazy, but they look like they did nothing in the offseason.”
James Harden (24 points) and Donovan Mitchell (22 points) combined for 46 points on 14-for-33 shooting against the Hawks, which was the Cavs’ first loss since their home opener against the Sixers.
