On Wednesday, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James was spotted wearing a black variant of his next signature shoe, Nike’s LeBron 15, during a pickup game with several NBA hopefuls at UCLA’s campus.
James’ new shoe, which is slated to hit retail stores in October, will set consumers back roughly $185. According to sneakernews.com, the new kicks will initially be available in four colorways.
“While there’s not a clear look yet, the LeBron 15 embraces the current trend of fitted, sock-like footwear,” Brandon Richard of Sole Collector writes in his recent article. “The new model features Flyknit construction, a bootie-style collar, rippled heel tab and cord lacing system. An articulated Zoom Air cushioning setup, reminiscent of Kevin Durant’s recent models, also appears to be in place.”
There is no doubt that these shoes will fly off the shelves once they’re made available to the general public. For now, though, collectors and enthusiasts will have to wait a short while before claiming a pair for themselves.
