Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James had the last word in Madison Square Garden, not only helping his Cavs cruise to a 123-109 win over the New York Knicks but letting his footwear do the talking this time, sporting a pair of his signature sneakers reading “I’m King.”
His shoes were clearly visible during warmups and as he took the free-throw line in the second quarter, as the pair of LeBron 15 PE “I’m King” got plenty of attention without the need for him to say a single word.

James and Knicks center Enes Kanter had gone back-and-forth before after a tussle with rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina during their last meeting earlier in the year, one which stirred plenty of controversies after James professed himself “The King of New York.”
Kanter didn’t take long to respond.
“I don’t care what you call yourself. King, Queen, Princess, whatever you are,” Kanter said. “You know what, we’re going to fight and nobody out there [is] going to punk us,” Kanter said.
When informed of Kanter’s comment, James replied: “I’m the King, my wife is the Queen and my daughter is the Princess. So we got all three covered.”
Kanter shot back immediately. “We’ve already got a king; it’s Kristaps Porzingis,” he said. “Sorry about that.”
James finished with 26 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists, gaining a 2-1 advantage in the season series after Monday’s 123-109 victory. The Cavs will face them once more on Wednesday for their season finale at Quicken Loans Arena.
