The more games Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James plays in, the likelier his chances of breaking and setting records.
After leading his team to a 101-95 win Wednesday over the Sacramento Kings by nearly stitching together triple-double numbers of 32 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, James has become just the third player in NBA history to rack up at least 700 points, 200 rebounds, and 200 assists in the first 25 games of a season.
Those points also include the dagger 3-pointer James hit late in the Kings game to propel his team to the victory.
LeBron James is arguably playing the best basketball of his career this season, and is the unquestioned biggest difference-maker for the Cavs, who have extended their unbeaten streak to 13 games after taking down the Kings. During that stretch, The four-time league MVP has averaged 27.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game while shooting 57.3 percent from the field. On the season, James is getting 28.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per contest.
James and the Cavs will rest Thursday as they hit the road again for a game against the Indiana Pacers this Friday. The team will come back to Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.
