For the last 14 years, LeBron James has established himself as arguably the best player in the NBA over that span.
In the process, it has built a tremendous level of expectations in regards to his play on a nightly basis. One of which James recently acknowledged that his stellar performance on the court has essentially come to be the norm.
Up to this point in his career, James earned many prestigious accolades such as four regular season MVP awards, 13 straight All-Star Game selections, 11 All-NBA First Team nods, two All-NBA Second Team, and three NBA Finals MVP awards in each of the three times that he won an NBA title. On top of that, he has already become the all-time leading scorer in the playoffs and is projected to potentially finish as the all-time leader in career points.
All of this has set the bar extremely high for him each season to perform like the unquestioned best player in the league. He has continued to prove just that this season putting together one of his most impressive campaigns currently third in the league in scoring at 28.0 points per game on career-best shooting numbers hitting 58.4 percent from the field and 41.6 percent from beyond the arc. He is also third in the NBA with 8.5 assists per game and grabbing 7.9 rebounds per contest.
Although he still has many productive years ahead of him, James has already proven to be one of the all-time greats from what he has accomplished so far in his career. What he does accomplishes moving forward only further cements his status.
