Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has a good number of interests outside of the basketball court. He’s building an entertainment empire which has to require a good bit of attention and is also set to open his “I Promise” school, which has taken on a significant importance to him personally.
However, James is also quite the wine connoisseur and recently spent around $1,200 on fine wines as he posted on Instagram.

Tim Cato of SB Nation tried to find out just how strong King James’ taste in wine is by consulting several experts, and the result was pretty unanimous: he’s legit. Either that, or the person/people he’s paying to pick out his wine is, anyway.
But much like LeBron James’ game on the court, his wine game isn’t completely perfect. The Cavs star does have one flaw, which is that he’s drinking some of the wines too young.
“The Kronos is going to enter its peak drinking window in eight to ten years, and it has the stuffing to age much longer,” Maker said. “The Brio — I confess I’m not familiar with Brand’s wines, but given the vintage, vineyard, blend, and protocols, this wine also needs some time.”
Even with that slight blemish, though, it’s pretty clear that James has taken his famous catchphrase to heart in that he wants everyone to witness his greatness – even with his wine game.
