These days, it seems as though Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James could lift one finger and he’d right away set a new record. That’s just how dominant James has been this season, which is his 15th in the league. Speaking of which, here are a few tidbits of statistical trivia which further reinforce the notion that the Cavs forward is having the greatest 15th season of any player in league history, via HoopsHype.
As what can be seen on the figure above, James is easily smoking the numbers his predecessors have put up in their own great playoff runs during their respective 15th seasons in the NBA.
At age 33 and with countless mileage on his body, he still manages to blow people’s minds away with his sustained brilliance. While most other players he entered the league with back in 2003 are either out of the league or are on the decline, James somehow keeps on ascending. He remains as among the best, if not the best, players in the game, and his presence in the Cavs’ fold is undoubtedly what holds together a team filled with malfunctioning parts.
That was especially evident on Friday when the four-time MVP stitched together a stellar performance for the ages, scoring 46 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and generating nine assists in 46 minutes to help Cleveland pull off a 109-99 win over the Boston Celtics at home in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.
LeBron can add more to his greatness on Monday in Game 7 of the series in Boston.
