On Friday night, the fine designers and developers at 2K Sports released a short clip of NBA 2K18. This marks the 19th installment of the popular basketball simulator, and Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is hyped.
James, who was given the highest overall player rating in 2K18 (97), posted the game’s trailer on his Twitter account with an upbeat message of approval, saying: “Man this the coldest trailer I’ve ever seen for a sports game in history! Got me hype to not only play the game but actually hoop real life!”

Former Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving, who was given an overall player rating of 90, graces the cover of 2K18. Other noteworthy player ratings include: Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (96), Houston Rockets guard James Harden (95), Warriors guard Stephen Curry (94), Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook (94), San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (95), and New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis (94).
