The Cleveland Cavaliers were back on the practice court Wednesday morning in preparation for their upcoming Game 5 matchup against the Indiana Pacers. Following the session, Cavs superstar LeBron James spoke to members of the media who were gathered with regards to the game, which many have labeled “pivotal.”

As most hoops fans know, this series is now tied at two games apiece. Game 5 is big, to be sure, and James is hoping to be at his best.

“Hopefully I’m at my best or close to it,” James told Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com after Wednesday’s practice.

“You just go out and do what you gotta do to help your team win,” James continued. “You gotta have your mind right, sharp, I don’t think you can never predict that the ball is going to go in or things of that nature, you always know that you’re going to be in the right spot defensively, try not to have as many turnover and just have your mind sharp.

“So I’ve been in this situation before but this is a different situation, every situation is different,” James said in closing. “Hopefully I’m at my best or close to it tonight.”

James has been a monster in this series. Through the four games played thus far, James has turned in averages of 32.5 points, 8.0 assists, 11.8 rebounds, 1.0 block and 1.0 steal. His best offensive performance of this series came in Game 2, when he racked up 46 points on 17-24 shooting (2-5 from beyond the arc), 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 100-97 victory.

Wednesday night’s Game 5 tilt is set to tip inside Quicken Loans Arena at 7:00 p.m. EST with TNT, FOX Sports Ohio and FOX Sports Indiana having live broadcast coverage. Let’s see if the King can post another breakout performance.
