Throughout his career, Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James has been one of the most reliable scorers that the league has seen in quite some time.
James has continually found a way to fill up the scoring column seemingly every night without much difficulty. According to Marcus Mosher of Bleacher Report, his track record with scoring 10 or more points is far better than two-time MVP Stephen Curry.
This is quite a remarkable feat given that James has only failed to notch 10 or more points less than 10 games of his career. Keep in mind, he is also creeping up on the all-time mark of 866 consecutive games with 10 or more points that is held by Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, one in which he currently sits at 810 games in a row.
The 32-year-old has been one of the league’s top scorers throughout his first 15 years in the league, holding a career average of 27.2 points per game while averaging more than 25.0 points per contest in every season since his rookie campaign. What has been quite remarkable in that regard is that he’s currently experiencing his most efficient shooting campaign, averaging a career-best in field goal percentage (58 percent) and three-point percentage (42.2 percent).
In fairness, much of those single-digit performances came in the first few years of Curry’s career, as he was feeling his way around to his identity now as one of the most gifted shooters and scorers that the league has ever seen. If anything, this statistic just underlines further the elite level offensive talent that James has become.
