After Wednesday morning’s shootaround at Cleveland Clinic Courts, Cavs superstar LeBron James was asked if there were any encouraging takeaways from Monday night’s 118-108 loss to the Golden State Warriors inside Quicken Loans Arena.
James, now in his 15th season of NBA service, had a solid game against the Warriors, scoring 32 points on 12-18 shooting from the field, eight rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and three steals in 36 minutes of playing time.
“Was there anything encouraging that came out of the game the other night (against the Warriors)?,” a reporter asked James.
James took a long pause before giving his reply.
“I’m more encouraged by what we did today in practice than what we did against the Warriors,” James said.
James did note that there were some encouraging aspects of the Cavs’ loss to the Warriors on Monday night. It just seems he didn’t feel like talking about them much.
James and the Cavs have struggled as of late. In fact, they’ve lost eight of their last ten games, which includes four straight. Their first shot at redemption comes on Thursday night, as they’re scheduled to host the Orlando Magic at 7:00 p.m. EST. Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Florida will have live broadcast coverage. Let’s see if they can get back into the win column.
