On Monday night, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James held his annual Halloween party from his home in the Akron, Ohio area. The costumes worn by the Cavs players were nothing short of elaborate. In fact, some required hours of behind-the-scenes cosmetic artistry.
There were several great costumes at James’ Halloween bash, including Tristan Thompon’s Khal Drogo regalia from Game of Thrones and Isaiah Thomas’ spot-on Eazy-E rendition. However, Cavs forward Kevin Love thinks Kyle Korver’s getup was the best.
With a pair of Oompa Loompas in tow and a Golden Ticket in-hand, Korver showed up as the Johnny Depp version of Willy Wonka.
Thompson and his girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, took the prize on Monday night, but Love feels Korver may have been robbed of the distinguished honor.

“No vote. It was a fix job, an inside job,” Love said with a laugh after practice Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic Courts. “I’m very disappointed. There was some stiff competition this year.
“I would have voted… the whole night, Kyle was awesome,” Love continued. “He looked just like the new school Willy Wonka. Who played that role? Johnny Depp. Just like him, he was perfect.”
Love flew in a makeup artist for his ‘Sting’ costume and was accompanied by his girlfriend, Kate Bock, who came dressed as Hulk Hogan. Love tells Ridenour that he had to shave his face for the event.
“I just felt like red,” Love said of his freshly-shaven face. “Younger. Channing (Frye) looks terrible. He looks so young with a shaved face, it’s funny.”
When asked if all of his teammates made the trip to James’ party, Love says he thinks most of them were there.
“Yeah, just about,” Love tells Ridenour. “Either that or I didn’t know who some of the guys were who had the full mask on. Nobody snuck in. Haunted house was great, too.”
Now that party time is over, it’s back to business for the Cavs, who have lost three consecutive games. Their first shot at redemption comes on Wednesday night, when they’ll host the Indiana Pacers inside Quicken Loans Arena for a divisional showdown. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m., with Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Indiana having live broadcast coverage.
