Earlier this week, KITH founder Ronnie Fieg, Nike, Matte Films, and Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James announced their partnership in a new mini-documentary series called “Long Live the King.”

The documentary, which is set to debut this Friday on Uninterrupted, will center on the ins-and-outs of James’ life, his rise to greatness, and some of the more influential people that he’s crossed paths with along the way. Fieg, a first-time executive producer, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the exciting news.

Via Kyle Rooney of hotnewhiphop.com:

“After a year in the making, I’m proud to present the first film I executively produced. “Long Live the King” is a mini-documentary by Kith in collaboration with Nike and produced by Matte Films that examines the life of LeBron James. My goal for this project with Nike has always been to highlight both sides of LeBron – the person and the player. This concept evolved into a documentary, which features pivotal figures throughout LeBron’s life, as well as the King himself. This film serves as the foundation for our partnership, I hope you enjoy it. Releasing publicly this Friday at 9AM EST on Uninterrupted.”

With no signs of regression, it seems the sky is the limit for LeBron James, who’s currently posting some of the best statistical figures of his career. In his 32 games played for the Cavs this season, the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 Draft has turned in averages of 28.2 points on 57.2 percent shooting from the field (41.1 percent from beyond the arc), 9.3 assists (career-high), and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Despite the adversities he faced growing up in Akron, Ohio, LeBron James, now 32 years of age and in his 15th season of NBA service, has managed to establish himself as the best player in today’s game. And in fact, some argue he’s the greatest of all time.
