The Cleveland Cavaliers may have the full frontline available against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. Cavs big men Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jr., and Tristan Thompson are all going to suit up, per Sam Amico of Sports Illustrated.

The Cavs have been plagued by injuries early in the 2019-20 season. Without their core, the Wine and Gold have had to rely on their backcourt duo of Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.

As of this writing, the Cavs have a 4-10 record under new head coach John Beilein. Though they’re in the losing column, some have observed the improvement in the team’s offense and defense. It may take some time before we fully see the Cavs’ power in full force. From Beilein’s observation, his team needs more ‘dog’ in them, per David Petkiewicz of cleveland.com.

“I think we just have to have more dog in us,” Beilein said. “I mean, we just have to. We’re almost there, where we’re ‘OK I hope he misses.’ No, we’ve got to make people miss. And so there is another … whether we’re going at eight or nine and we need to be at 10 to get it done, I don’t know. But, there’s just got to be … we don’t have great length to bother shooters. So we have to have incredible effort to bother shooters.”

Hopefully, the big man core of Love, Nance, and Thompson will help the team to meet Beilein’s demands.
