Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland just threw one of the best passes you’ll see all season long to Cavs backcourt buddy Collin Sexton, as the legend of SexLand continues to grow.
Check out this insane quarter-of-a-court bounce pass from Garland that was right on the money (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):
Garland also had to put in a lot of English on that ball to make sure that it found its mark. This peach of a forward pass literally went through three Detroit Pistons defenders as it fell right into the path of a wide-open Collin Sexton. It’s a good thing Sexton was able to finish the lay-up as it would have been an absolute shame if he ended up wasting that out-of-this-world dime.
Garland has been outstanding for the Cavs this season, with the 6-foot-1 guard taking a tremendous leap in his sophomore campaign. The 21-year-old is currently averaging 17.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 2.1 steals, while also connecting on 1.9 triples per game on a 46.7-percent clip. He’s been on a tear for Cleveland for pretty much the entire season, and it’s flashy plays such as this that tell us that Garland has a bright future ahead of him in the NBA.
