Cavs owner Dan Gilbert is keeping the Cleveland Cavaliers focused after winning all four games of their first-round series against the Miami Heat in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.

On Monday, the Cavs overwhelmed the Heat in Game 4, blowing them by 55 points. It marked the second-biggest victory in NBA Playoff history, emphasizing the huge advantage of talent Cleveland had over Miami.

Gilbert reacted to the series-closing win on social media. What he said in the post showcases what the Cavs are concentrating towards at the end of the day.

“We still have 12 more wins to accomplish our mission. Let’s stay focused,” Gilbert said.

As Dan Gilbert said, the Cavs are not letting their historic season go to waste. They showed plenty of that with how they dominated the Heat in Game 4.

The Cavs never scored less than 27 points in each of the four quarters. They boasted a 43-17 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. They succeeded on both sides of the ball, growing a lead that kept rising as the game went on.

Cleveland nearly had 60-50-90 shooting splits with how their offense flourished against Miami. They crashed the glass 51 times and created 26 assists. They also held their opponents to 83 points on dismal shooting splits of 36% from the field, including 20% from beyond the arc, and 60% from the free-throw line.

Five players scored in double-digits on Cleveland’s behalf. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 22 points and five assists. He shot 8-of-15 overall, including 4-of-8 from downtown. De’Andre Hunter came next with 19 points, Ty Jerome had 18 points and five assists, Evan Mobley put up 17 points and seven rebounds, while Jarrett Allen provided 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Cavs now await the winner of the first round series between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks. The Pacers currently lead 3-1 and have a chance to close it out in Game 5, which will take place on April 29 at 6 p.m. ET.
