The Cleveland Cavaliers tip off their 2016-17 season on October 25th by raising Cleveland’s first ever NBA championship banner. They ended the longest championship drought in professional sports history at 52 years, and have a brought new life to the city of Cleveland.
Now, the Cleveland Indians have continued in their footsteps, defying all the oddsmakers and doubters by making it to the World Series of baseball for the first time since 1997. The Indians will be hosting Game 1 of the World Series on October 25th as well, and will be playing at least through Saturday, October 29.

To top that off, the winless Cleveland Browns will take on the New York Jets on Sunday, October 30th. All three of Cleveland’s professional sports teams playing on the same weekend, which, according to Zack Meisel of Cleveland.com, will be the first time in Cleveland history that all three teams play meaningful games on the same weekend.
Next weekend will mark the first time *ever* that the Indians, Cavs and Browns will all play on the same weekend (preseason games excluded)

If we’re being honest, we can probably expect Cleveland to win two out of those three games. Then again, the 0-6 Browns will be taking on the 1-5 Jets (both teams have one game this weekend before next week’s matchup).
Cleveland is going to be very busy and full of excitement over the next couple of days, and no city deserves it more than The Land.
