With the Cavs having two days of rest since their last game on Saturday night before taking on the Memphis Grizzlies at home tonight as well as tomorrow on the road, the team has opted to give star point guard Kyrie Irving the night off.
Irving has been one of the only Cavaliers to play in all 22 games so far this season, and has played at least 34 minutes in 13 games. The rest day will give Irving a complete three days off before getting back to action tomorrow night.

Irving has averaged 23.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.5 three pointers this season. DeAndre Liggins will start in his place alongside J.R. Smith, LeBron James, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson.
