During Team USA’s last game on Friday, Kyrie Irving took a hard knee to the thigh while trying to fit over a screen. He fell to the ground and shook it off to continue playing.

On Monday afternoon, just before the start of the USA’s final exhibition game, it was announced that Irving would be sitting out tonight’s game with a mild left thigh bruise.
Per @AmicoHoops, Kyrie Irving is not expected to play tonight with a mild left thigh bruise. Paul George also out with a left calf strain.

Irving’s been prone to injuries over his career so far, but has been able to stay relatively healthy for the past year. Irving is probably being held out as a precaution, and will be ready to go when Team USA starts their Olympic run in Rio de Janeiro in less than a week.
