The Cavs’ Joe Harris has barely seen any court time this season. He’s played in just five games on the season and has averaged just three minutes in those games. There have also been rumors that Harris would likely be traded by the trade deadline in February. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports that Harris hasn’t been able to practice due to some right foot discomfort over the past couple of days.

Unfortunately for Harris, it seems like his season is done. Dave McMenamin reports that Harris will have surgery to remove a bone in his right foot, and it very well could be season-ending.

Harris has been the subject of many trade rumors after the Cavs picked up Jared Cunningham, who has impressed in limited court-time. It remains to be seen what the Cavs will end up doing with him, but Rotoworld is reporting that he likely won’t be a Cavalier past the trade deadline. If he remains with the Cavs, hopefully he can overcome this injury and still make an impact.
