With rumors shrilling yesterday about a contract extension for Cavaliers forward/center Anderson Varejao, the Cleveland Cavaliers confirmed an extension for the 11-year veteran.
Varejao, 32, who has spent his entire career with the Cavaliers, has been a fan favorite with the franchise ever since he has entire the league.
ESPN NBA reporter Marc Stein first reported yesterday that the Cavs were close to completing a contract extension with Varejao.

Stein reported the deal would a three-year/$30 million extension but the Cavaliers have yet to announced the details of Varejao’s multiyear deal.
Varejao has averaged 7.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks in his 11-year career.
