Cleveland Cavaliers superstar small forward LeBron James is known as one of the greatest athletes to ever pick up a basketball. From his early days with the Irish of St. Vincent – St. Mary High School to his seven consecutive trips to the NBA’s biggest stage, the King has simply taken the game by storm. Now, it seems one of his greatest talents is rubbing off on his eldest son, LeBron James Jr.

Last week, James Jr. took part in the Adidas Uprising event with his North Coast Blue Chips teammates. During the first period of a tie ball game, “Bronny,” as he is known, made a statement with an emphatic rejection.

At just 12 years of age, James Jr. is already showing signs of promise. As a fourth grader, he led his AAU team to the championship round. And in fact, Jr. has already been awarded a handful of MVP honors and accolades for his superb level of play.

It looks like hoops fans may have another James to root for in the future, but let’s not rush it.
