LeBron James did all he could to keep his Cleveland Cavaliers in the series against the Golden State Warriors, but in the end, adding Kevin Durant to a 73-9 Warriors team became too much to overcome.

James scored 41 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out eight assists in Game 5, upping his series averages to 33.6 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. That triple double average by James is the first ever in the NBA’s 71-year history.

James became the first player in NBA history to lead both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks in an NBA Finals series last year en route to Cleveland’s first title and his third. This season, he and the Cavs come up short, but he’ll be looking for revenge next year.
