Kevin Love sniped by basketball in warmups, J.R. Smith comes to the rescue with timely CPR
Kevin Love couldn’t catch a break during Wednesday’s warmups prior to facing the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. The deadeye forward was sniped by a basketball headed his way, landing right on the moneymaker.
A loyal J.R. Smith was there to rescue his fallen teammate, just in time to provide much needed CPR after unexpectedly catching leather to the face.

Love, involuntarily so will be part of SportsCenter’s Not Top 10, falling victim of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. It only falls in place with what seems to be a magnetic annual tradition of catching players in the face, with LeBron James being the last victim before Love.
Whoever is throwing these passes… I wonder how many no-scopes he’s got so far.
