The day before Halloween just went from exciting to one of the greatest opening days in the history of both Cleveland and the Cavaliers franchise. Before the Cavaliers open their regular season with a home contest against the New York Knicks, they will be co-hosting a free, fan fest with Turner Sports. The fan fest will run from 4-11 p.m. at the Huron (Stark) Parking Lot directly outside The Q. The headliners for this star-studded event are none other than Grammy-nominated recording artist Kendrick Lamar and acclaimed actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Other performances will include appearances by the Scream Team hip-hop troupe, Cavalier Girls dance team, and much more. For those that come out to the fan fest on the 30th, the area immediately outside the Q will double as an outdoor viewing party complete with huge video boards for those without tickets to the game.
Turner Sports will be televising the fan fest, as part of the hour-long TNT NBA Tip-Off presented by AutoTrader.com at 7:00 PM E/T. Kevin Hart and NBA TV’s Inside Stuff host Kristen Ledlow will make appear during the segment.
