Yesterday afternoon, the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors participated in the NBA’s annual Finals media availability. Just as he was last year, Jimmy Kimmel’s trusty sidekick, Guillermo Rodriguez, was in attendance.

Guillermo, one of the funniest men in entertainment, was given the opportunity to interview Cavs guard J.R. Smith during a break in yesterday’s action. After informing Smith of his wishes for a Cavaliers victory, Guillermo made it clear that he would not be talking to LeBron James.

“I want to tell you something,” Gullermo said to Smith. “Everybody is talking about both of the teams. I’m not talking to LeBron James. I’m not talking to him. Give him a message and tell him ‘Guillermo isn’t talking to you.'”

After a hug for good luck in the series, Guillermo then asked Smith if he could get a ride home after Game 1.

“You gotta talk to (David Griffin) about that,” Smith replied. “I don’t know if they’ll let you on the bus.”

The much-anticipated “three-match” commences tonight at 9:00 p.m. inside Oracle Arena, with ABC having live broadcast coverage. We’ll just have to wait and see if Guillermo has any more antics up his sleeve.
