Donovan Mitchell injury status vs. Sixers
Cavs fans will be glad to know that Mitchell will be back in action on Wednesday. The All-Star guard was nowhere to be found on Cleveland’s injury report, which means that he will be in the starting lineup against Philly. Mitchell’s absence on Tuesday appears to be purely precautionary, and he will now be back in the fold when the Cavs try and secure a home win against the mighty Sixers.
The bad news for Cleveland supporters is that Jarrett Allen will still be out of action on Wednesday. The 6-foot-11 center is still dealing with a right eye contusion and will be forced to sit out his third consecutive game because of the injury. The Cavs frontcourt will have its hands full with Joel Embiid on Wednesday night, especially without Allen in the mix.
The Sixers, on the other hand, are almost fully healthy. Jalen McDaniels has popped up on the injury report as questionable to play, but other than that, it’s a clean bill of health for Philly.
Now, with regard to the question of is Donovan Mitchell playing tonight vs. the Sixers, the answer is yes.
